“I refuse to go to 2.0 because I use a lot of "do it yourself" pods (not "Keurig My K-cup reusable" brand). Will this work with those generic reusable cups? K55 is going backwards on features. I like that this has a strong brew option & nice appearance.”

Yes I have made coffee with it with reusable filters. It doesn’t taste the same as our old coffee maker but it works.

While the K- Select Brewing System has the ability to brew any K-Cup Pod, we recommend you only use products with the “Keurig Brewed” seal with the Keurig Brewer as these meet the Keurig standards for taste, quality and safety and are tested to perform in the Keurig Brewer. We do not make or test the other brands. Also, using unapproved pods or accessories may decrease your brewer’s performance, overall life, and may affect its warranty.
