“I want to be sure before purchasing, but can you still use generic k-cups in this new machine? I have no problems with my original Keurig, but someone said the k-cups have to be licensed by Keurig and currently I use cheaper Victor Allen k-cups .”

• You are not limited to brewing only Keurig pods in the K-Supreme Plus coffee maker, however, we recommend brewing with our branded or licensed K-Cup pods for the best brewing and beverage experience. We hope this is helpful!

• As long as they're the same size as traditional k cups they will work. No proprietary nespresso tactics here. Enjoy!

• Not true, they will not work in the smart mode without the qr code you have to use the general mode
