Yes, the Keurig still uses DRM. You may google ways around the DRM restrict. There are also reusable k-cups that you may purchase.

If I recall correctly, they took that away.

At the very least they offer their own official My K Cup that works flawlessly with the Keurig 2.0 machines. It's moderately priced at $14.99.

This model can be used with any pod that has the Keurig seal. There is also a My K-Cup 2.0 attachment, not included, which allows you to use any ground coffee.

Yes but, you can get around it. Best Buy sells a reusable cup that also comes with a metal peice that clips and and let's you use any cups.

I bought a reusable cup to use in my keurig that allows me to use any ground coffee I desire. I hope this helps.

Yes there is a restriction but I haven't had any issues with pods I have used. There is a video on YouTube that addresses the restriction on kcups. That is why I decided to purchase--Originally I felt the same way you did.

Our machine has been able to use all different brands of coffee. There are some cool coffees out there and I try them all.
