A:AnswerThey are not the same. The 575 is a bundle from online shopping stores such as QVC or HSN. The 525 had more brew options as well. You can only brew 10 ounces with the 575 and the 525 will brew 12 ounces from K-cups. The 525 will also brew K-mugs up to 18 ounces which the 575 can't do.
