Yes, you can customize each key to be whatever color you want and animate howevery you want. It's actually kind of overwhelming how much you can customize.

There are 25 pre-programmed color effects, all of which can be customized in the "keychron launcher," which is an HTML-/web-based launcher that recognizes your keyboard and allows you to change rhythms, colors, effects, macros, the HE switches, everything. I really like some of the light patterns like the candy rain.
