Q: QuestionCan you use the microwave function at the same time as the convection oven function, so that the food cooks faster?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances. This Microwave, model KMMF530PPS, is designed to allow the use of the microwave function independently of the convection functions. This separation is due to the different types of cooking methods they utilize. The microwave function uses electromagnetic waves to heat and cook food quickly, while the convection function employs a fan to circulate hot air around the food, providing even and thorough cooking similar to a traditional oven.
