Sorry it can. It doesn’t mount in that manner and has exhaust venting on it. You would need to look for a built in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Tom, the "Over the Range Microwave Hood" is intended only for an installation over a Range or Cooktop. There are however, several "Countertop Microwaves" that will fit into a space and several have available trim kits to give them a built-in look. We suggest looking at those models. The Trim Kits come in different widths as well, however, the Countertop Micrwaves are not "low profile" like the one you have linked here. We hope this helps.
