QuestionWhat are the steps to use the convection oven mode on KMHC319ESS

- Answer On the left top settings you will see bake. It will go through various things you might be baking, casserole, biscuits, etc. Unfortunately, the last is the one I always use, setting on my own. Once you select it you can put in your temp. If my recipe calls for 400 degrees for 30 min. I can easily and confidently set it at 375 degrees for 20 min.

QuestionMine came in a plain brown box? Seemed to be wrapped inside with form fitting Styrofoam, plastic protective corner pieces and wrapped with thick clear plastic(not shrink wrap). Just wondering if I received an open box or is this the norm?

- Answer That is not the norm. Same thing happened to me and when we took it out of the wrapping, there was damage. Most likely it was repacked - whether a return or the original box was damaged. check it carefully before installing.

QuestionIs there additional clearance needed on the side of the unit for the door when opened? I have cabinets on each side and need a 0.0 clearance with the door open.

- Answer A previous question answers this as 400CFM. That seems about right as the top speed definitely has noise, turbulence, and strong air flow. The 1000W answer has nothing to do with the fan, but refers to the wattage of the microwave oven.

- Answer Yes. You have three options. It comes already set to exhaust back into the room but you can set it up to exhaust through your roof or you can exhaust through the wall.

- Answer Not sure how it's attached (probably glue, no hole obvious), so it would be very difficult to remove and doing so would probably damage the stainless steel.
