“The sales picture shows the butter keeper at the very top . How do you install it there without breaking it? I see other customer pictures show it a notch below so assume they couldn't get it at the top either.”

Hi LAL, The butter keeper shelf rests on two notches, on either side of the Refrigerator's door. The shelf should be able to rest on the notches without difficulty. Thank you for your question.
