The average kitchen counter top is 24-25 inches deep. This fridge is 24" deep from front to back WITH OUT the doors. Allowing for a clearance of at least 2-3 inches from the back of the fridge to the wall to allow for plugging in the fridge to the electric outlet and for your water connection to the water dispenser and ice maker, the fridge's door hinges will be at least 1-2 inches past the edge of the counter top and about 3 to 4 inches past the front edge of typical base cabinets. This means the doors should have an un-impeded swing radius of at least 180°.
