QuestionAre the Controls accessible with granite lip enclosure ?The granite countertop covers the upper "lip" of the dishwasher completely. Will that affect the ability to use the controls?

QuestionInquiring on the open box dishwasher in Union City. Why is this an open box unit? Is it damaged, dents, scratches, etc.? Where is the steam vent located? If I order this to ship to Modesto store do I need to take it if I don't like it?

- Answer Mine was a return unit never installed, no damage what so ever. No box and extra packing as original would be. My savings was only $50. I which the wife made the purchase. You would have to check with your store for returns if you don't like it. I'm sure there is a restocking fee if you choose to return it. My heat element is in the bottom and there is no vent because there was no extra installation other then the water supply, drain hose, and electrical. I'm assuming that the drain hose is used as a vent. Not sure.

QuestionI rinse the dishes and put them in washer. We only run it maybe once a week. We empty it right after cycle. There is mold that are on items after being washed. Why?
