“Can the 3rd rack be removed? Currently have an old school dishwasher with silverware caddy that makes it easy to carry across the kitchen and unload into the silverware drawer. If the 3rd rack can’t be removed, how do people unload/put away silverware?”

• Hello Eric, Yes the upper rack on this unit can be removed. This unit also has a separate basket for silverware. We hope this helps.

• The third rack is not for your silverware. It has a separate silverware tray that can be removed.
