A:AnswerA 12" plate fits fine without impeding the upper washer arm. The clearance between the bottom rack and the washer arm is about 11.25" but the plates are at an angle when they rest on the bottom rack so 12" plates do not impede the upper washer.
A:AnswerSo far I haven't had that issue. I load my dishwasher and select the washing cycle and drying cycle--then close the door. Then the cycle begin/ starts to wash. Hum I do not any programing---just make a selection and the machine start.
A:AnswerThe Clearance between the lower and the middle rack is normally 11”. You can raise the middle rack 1” to get 12” clearance. I measured from the bottom of the lower rack to the sprayer under the middle rack. If you put the cookie sheets way on the side of the bottom rack, out of reach of the sprayer, you gain another 1/2”.

A:AnswerI have to admit I don't know with certainty but I think it is a fiberglass based product. I've seen foam and felt used for noise blankets and it isn't one of those yet it doesn't have the small fibers that fiberglass insulation usually has. It separates like fiberglass though.
