Can I shred potatoes? Thank you! null

The Mini Food Chopper will only chop and puree. It does not feature a shredding option.

I've never shredded potatoes in a chopper; however, it will chop raw carrots small enough for use in baking. Raw Potatoes are about the same consistency, therefore I would try it, but cut a raw , peeled potato in chunks first.

To me it seems it could chop with your control non even pieces of potatoes for hash browns

Not sure it will work for this but haven't tried. Would have to cut the potatoes in to fairly small pieces first. Probably a job for a large processor.

Yea of course my wife does it all the time — great mashed potatoes will come out
