• Bowl removes from base and cover comes off bowl. Inside is removable blade. So three removable parts. The cord wraps around base and not loose on counter if you don't want it in the way.

• Top twist to the left to remove. Container twist to left to remove from the base. Blade pulls out. Reassemble by replacing container on base and twist to right, replace blade and put top on and twist to right.

• Per Kitchenaid: The lids on the older models did separate. However, the newer models do not separate. We no longer make lids for our Food Choppers that will separate.

• Hold the bottom unit firmly with one hand while twisting the clear (handle) part clockwise.

• The bowl and lid can be separated by turning the lid until it clicks and lifting up. To remove the bowl from the base, turn to the left and lift up.
