- Answer Hi Nancy, A 6" (15.2 cm) round vent system is needed for installation (not included). The hood exhaust opening is 6" (15.2 cm) round.

- Answer Hello Islandmount, this model is a 30" Wall-Mount, 3-Speed Canopy Hood, this model does not mount over an island. We would recommend looking into our Island-Mount Canopy Hoods.
