• Hi jillb, the KCGS356ESS features a 19,000 BTU center burner for the quickest water boiling capability. We are unable to give an exact time it takes (your altitude and type of gas will have impacts that will make this too random). The Right Rear burner is your simmer burner, it is set for 5,000BTU
