For model KBSN748SPS KitchenAid® Refrigerator, To turn the refrigerator power ON or OFF, you must remove the top grille assembly to access the power switch. For your convenience, your refrigerator and freezer controls are preset at the factory.
When you first install your refrigerator, make sure that the controls are still set to the recommended set points. The factory recommended set points are 37°F (3°C) for the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer.
Pressing Refrigerator or Freezer Temperature button will toggle through temperature set points in Fahrenheit (°F). Pressing the Freezer or Refrigerator picture button once will decrease the temperature (1°C, 2°F).
Once the temp setting reaches the lowest temperature allowed for that zone, the next button press will change the temperature to the highest temperature allowed for that zone (looping).
The Refrigerator temperature range will be from 33°F to 43°F (1°C to 6°C), with the factory default temperature being 37°F (3°C).
The Freezer temperature range will be from -8°F to 5°F (-22°C to -15°C), with the factory default temperature being 0°F (-18°C).
