Hello Jo, Any flat bottomed cookware will work (no grooves or raised areas on the bottom that do not touch the surface); however, we have found that glass cookware is the least efficient, cast iron contributes most toward deterioration of the cooktop over time, copper or aluminum bottomed more likely to easily scratch the cooktop, and stainless steel bottom cookware is the most efficient and least likely to cause damage or scratch. Care must be taken with any cookware not to slide the items being used across the surface of the glass.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A cast iron would work and the pan which is approved to be used on it is the induction cooking pan. All other pan would not work on it since there is a sensor that would only work on the induction pan and will not respond to other pan. If you place a regular pan it would beep and will continue to beep until you place a induction cooking pan on the stove.
