• I purchased the mixer head with the rubber scraper separately. I believe it is necessary.

• That attachment did not come w/the mixer, however, we purchased it at Best Buy ($23, compared to $28 everywhere else). WELL worth the money. It's a must have attachment.

• No, you have to purchase that separately from the kitchen-aide website. Most mixers include just the standard 3 attachments
