I would not recommend for espresso grinding. I have been told that a burr (spelling?) grinder is best for that. My next purchase will be the burr grinder.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Whether this grinder works for you depends entirely on one thing: is it a "burr" grinder or a "blade" grinder? If you are looking at a standard blade grinder (the kind with a spinning propeller), the answer is no. It will produce "boulders and dust"—chunks that are too big and powder that is too fine—which will either clog your espresso machine or result in sour, watery coffee.
