In fact, 80 percent of Whirlpool Corporation Appliances are made in the United States and sold in the United States. We make more appliances in the U.S. than any other Appliance manufacturer. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I researched this very issue online. It seems Kitchenaid dishwashers are made in USA AND ELSEWHERE. I doubt this model, which I have, is actually made in USA. When the new unit arrived, it had a big "USA" decal sticker in front. But when you look closely, the sticker just said USA Brand or something like that. It was just a feel good sticker. If it was really manufactured here, they would not hesitate to proudly proclaim MADE IN USA. Nowhere does it say made in USA on the product literature either. My guess is my unit was made in Mexico (but "designed in USA").
