• Go to the KitchenAid website. It will tell you all of the attachments and accessories that are available for a particular KitchenAid mixer model. You can even order the parts on-line and have them shipped to your house.

• I do not know about interchangeable attachments, but there are many available for the Kitchen aid brand, such as a food processor, fruit and vegetable peeler, grater attachment, pasta maker, meat grinder, ice cream maker, and several others.
