• I use the crushed ice from my refrigerator for my smoothies, and it does a great job! There are usually a few bigger pieces in it, too, but grinds them up pretty easily. The frozen spinach was a problem, though. I found a chunk of frozen spinach about the size of a walnut in my smoothie. I've been using fresh spinach, instead.
