“I have a pair of swan desktop speakers which are great however, the subwoofer popped and it's making the popping sound. I believe it's because I listen to music that's very rich in bass. Will this subwoofer handle music rich in bass?”

Absolutely it will... it's part of my 7.2 system and it rocks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It handles all the bass I give it. Everything from heavy metal to pop/hip hop. I have concrete walls in my house and I can feel the bass outside without distortion of any kind on the inside.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had to turn down the gain as it was hitting so hard. You should be very pleased. I have had there brand of speakers since mid seventy's and the last pair had 15" Bass speakers, and this is as good! Have a set of Vandersteen now that work well with it. My surrounds have twins 10" and it overpowers them. I listen to Classical, Rock, Blues , Rap and CW.
