Yes exactly what I did but decided to go for a 7.2 set up.

Yes they will as long as your system can push enough watts through these speakers to get the full depth of their sound range.

that depends on the head unit/ amp. if your receiver pushes 100w RMS per channel, then my opinion is go for it. hopefully you receiver can tune each channel independently. theses speakers may drown out your center channel.
