Yes exactly what I did but decided to go for a 7.2 set up.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.that depends on the head unit/ amp. if your receiver pushes 100w RMS per channel, then my opinion is go for it. hopefully you receiver can tune each channel independently. theses speakers may drown out your center channel.
