Lol....you can never overdo Klipsch brother! With that being said. ..go for it you know you won't be sorry you did
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, technically you could add these speakers but you'd need to disconnect your front l/r channel speakers to connect the Klipsch towers. You may also need to upgrade your center channel speaker to match the tonality of your fronts. The surround channel speakers won't make much of a difference but you will definitely notice a major difference in the sound. Particularly since the center channel and fronts would be at ear level (which is ideal for listening). If anything, this will be a major upgrade but not at all overdoing it. Cheers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I replaced a nice set of Polk tower speakers with these and am happy with the additional bass from these 8" woofers. These are also very efficient so take less power to drive them and so play loudly and cleanly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First of all, i would only use ceiling speakers for dolby atmos height speakers. You can research speaker placrment for these. The r28 speakers are great for front l/R speakers. The music and sound effects in movies are awesome. You can add some rear speakers later to replace those ceiling speakers you are using for surround speakers. I have r26 for surround. With a 7 channel receiver you should have only 2 speakers in the ceiling and that will be a 5.1.2 set up. If you go to a 7.1 2 or 7.1.4 that means a more expensive receiver. But yes these speakers will overwhelm a little but it will be ok because you will love them.
