You wil need an amplifier to be able to power these bad boys. I curewntly have a yamaha receiver it works good.

These Speakers require a Receiver

Unless your tv or computer has speaker out jacks then the answer is no. These speakers are designed to be a part of a home theatre system by way of an amplifier/receiver. Best speaker I have so far!
