“I have Klipsch Synergy F-20 floorstanding speakers for my fronts. Due to a new built in cabinet, I need to move to bookshelf speakers. I'm afraid of the loss in sound. The store recommended these. No store has demo speakers. Any thoughts on this, thanks”

These speakers sound very good. If they are properly paired with a subwoofer they will provide excellent sound. I used them as fronts for years and recently moved them to the rear a d replaced them with Klipsch R-820f towers. You will lose a little punch.... Maybe it depends on your receiver or amp. I was originally disappointed with my towers until I got a new Marantz amp. So they will sound the same if you are using a smaller amp. If you are running a system with at least 130watts per channel you will lose a little punch at the mids and upper ranges of bass. If your running a typical 69watt per channel mid range receiver you may actually gain a little clarity. That was my experience anyway
