Receiver choice will mainly depend on the passive (non-powered) speakers that you would like to incorporate in your system. As an example, if you want to use the RP-6000F II as you main front speakers, then you will want to look for a receiver/amplifier that supplies close to 100 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms (this can be found on a receiver's specification sheet or Owner's Manual). In terms of incorporating a subwoofer into your system, the receiver/amplifier will need to have a dedicated RCA Subwoofer Output.
