- Answer This drive includes a USB-C cable, which is compatible with the Thunderbolt 3 ports on MacBooks and MacBook Pros from 2016 and later. it also comes with a USB-A cable for connecting to older Macs. The USB-C cable can also be used to connect to a 2018 or 2020 iPad Pros. It can’t connect to older or non-Pro iPads or iPhones.

- Answer I just graduated with a similar degree. I used these hard drives all the time. They with stood the wear and tear that a student would put on it in class and the field. I would highly recommend. Although I used it with a Mac, I’m unsure about his computer. Sorry.
