• Yes you can remove shelves to store larger bottles. You may not be able to "stack" the bottles, however, as the lip on the shelf is not very tall, so multiple layers of bottles (depending on size and shape), may push the outer bottles "over" the sides of the shelves when you pull the shelf out of the fridge to access the wine.
