• It is not a misting fan - it is suppose to be okay in the outdoors; but did purchase a cover.

• Great question. This fan is water resistant, and made for outdoor use. However, it is not a misting fan. The only misting fan Lasko manufactures is the 7050, which can be found at this link: https://www.laskoproducts.com/products/misto-outdoor-misting-fan-7050/
