Q: QuestionWhat's the difference between the Lenmar Battery Model LBTSM55L and the LBTSM55LX?I would like to know the difference between the models LBTSM55L and LBTSM55LX. Is either more reliable? I have heard that these replacement batteries do not hold their charge very well. What can you tell me about that? The battery that originally came with our laptop does not hold its charge and never has. I would not want to purchase a replacement battery that doesn't work either.

However model #LBTSM55LX is an extended battery, and has a mAh of 8800; model #LBTSM55L has a mAh of 4400. The higher mAh will not harm your device. The higher mAh will hold more energy for each cycle, meaning your device will run longer per each charge. The total lifespan of the batteries remain unaffected. Please be aware that model #LBTSM55LX may stick out a bit from your device due to it being larger in size. The best way to compare a new battery is to compare it to your old battery by the mAh or Wh, which indicate how powerful the capacity of a battery is.
