Yes it will, but you may need to configure some advanced video settings on your console first, i.e. disabling 'Auto detect.' On my xbox, series S, I had to do the following: xbox TV & display options > Advanced > Video fidelity & overscan > Display > select 'HDMI' (disables 'Auto-detect'). Then under 'display', you can select 120hz if it isn't already selected. You may have to manually select your previous resolution if disabling 'Auto-detect' changed it.
