The only one of these I feel comfortable answering is the RAM, and the answer is yes. I bought this thing knowing it had a single 8GB chip with an open slot so I could add another 8GB in the near future. However I haven't had a single performance problem with the 8 GB so far so I haven't needed to add the extra RAM.
