“I bought this computer and during setup i noticed that it is a legion 7 only not a 7i. Even on the bottom model number it says 7 16IRX9. No (I) indicated like on other (I) models. Has this been changed on the 2024 or was I shipped the wrong pc?”

The "i" listed in the device model name is generally only included when the devices advertised, and it rarely will be printed on product packaging or in the model number of the device itself.
