RAM can be upgraded up to 64GB of DDR5-4800 or DDR5-5600. This will not void the warranty unless damage occurs during the upgrade or because of the upgrade. I would recommend always keeping any components that may be removed during upgrades because if service ever needs to occur you'll need to have it be stock. It also could possibly help in troubleshooting if there is a future issue. I hope this helps.
