• Yes it can be connected to any desk top computer. It is very easy to connect. It comes with both a HDMI and standard monitor cable.

• Yes, you can. Depending on how old your Dell is, it will take either an HDMI cable or a VGA cable. This monitor comes with both. The only thing you might need to do after hooking it up is going into Display Setting by right clicking your desktop so you can update the display size.

• it's very easy. you'll be able to tell which slot the cable goes into very easily. This isn't like a TV where there's a bunch of ports on the back. The monitor has a total of 4. It also comes with these cables so you don't have to buy any separate cords for it.
