Yes, there are two NVMe M.2 slots in which one is already occupied with a M.2 2242 containing the Windows Boot OS. You can install a full size 2280 M.2 drive in the other slot. Just watch a couple of upgrade instruction videos on Youtube for this Lenovo LOQ 15 Laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can also fit a 2280 in the slot the stock 2242 SSD is installed. You just have to Dremel out the standoff for the 2242 because it's too tall and makes a 2280 length bend slightly. May void your warranty though! Drape everything in plastic wrap and be methodical and slow with the cutting tool to minimize sparks. Use parchment paper near the standoff because it won't catch fire due to sparks. Finish the work with a file and make sure to cut it low enough to get the clearance needed.
