“I see what look like filters on the bottom of the unit -- does it have a fan to handle cooktop smoke & grease? If so, can this unit be vented to the outside or does it just recirculate the filtered air back to the kitchen (and where would that come out?”

Yea it has a fan and can vent to outside as that is our setup. The fan can also come on automatically when the stovetop is in use if you set it up in the app.

You can do room ventilation, all ventilation, or roof ventilation. For room venting (recirculating) installation, this oven is shipped and assembled for room venting. You do not need to do anything aside from installing the unit. For Wall-Venting Installation, please follow the installation instructions on pages 9-10 of the installation manual and Roof-Venting Installation instructions on page 11. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit has. Vent fan in it. It is default recirculating mode but can be vented outside as well during install. If in recirculating mode, it comes out the top front. The filters can be cleaned and/or replaced. Also, if you have a ThinQ stove, you can set it up so the fan and lights come on whenever you turn on a burner.
