If I had an RV, I would seriously consider this microwave. Most of the controls are located in the bottom 3-4" of the black area, and suggested cook ideas are just inside the door so eye level installation is best. It has 2 settings for lighting the surface (stove top) below and 5 settings for the fan which can be loud. It draws air from stove top below and vents out the top. So far, we have used microwave, convection cooking (pizza) and AirFry to reheat store bought chicken wings and tenders. Still trying to figure out what cookware to use as it seems that convection and microwave use different ones; and when to use the enclosed pan or shelf in cooking.

Convection Over-the-Range Smart Microwave with Sensor Cooking and Air Fry - Stainless Steel, Model # MHEC1737F, in an RV. As with any other over-the-range microwave oven, regardless of brand or manufacturer, it can be installed in an RV, but it requires careful measurement of the space, and you must ensure the unit fits, is properly secured to handle road vibrations, and that its ventilation matches the RV's setup...^Ivan.
