    • Answer I just replaced my Furrion mc15ss with this. The Furrion has no parts available and is a lower quality unit. This is larger, more powerful, longer warrantee, Air fryer and much more control over what and how you cook. And of course, it's gorgeous. The mounts are almost identical (I mounted mine on the Furrion mount already in place)....couldn't be happier.

  • QuestionCan it be installed in an open cabinet instead of over the range?

    • Answer As long as there is enough space underneath it for airflow plus enough structure to install the rear mounting bracket and a permanent sturdy shelf to put the hanging bolts through to securely suspend it from above. These are heavy units that require a solid structure behind and directly above them for safe installation. Personally I wouldn't pay extra for the range hood over the stove model when a countertop model that will fit the cabinet would be a more reasonable option that won't require installation.
