• Yes, it is a microwave and performs all the microwave functions you would expect. It does have additional functions as well. I'm still learning those bot am very pleased with everything it offers in addition to being a microwave.

• yes, this works as a normal microwave in addition to having convection oven/air fryer capabilities (those are totally different settings, and the oven works differently for the different settings).

• You can heat a cup of coffee it is a microwave oven with other options.
