“Some of the answers must have a different manual (page 7 vs page 14). But I tried setting the Time and the Power Level to 0, and the microwave turntable and vent still operate. I've tried using LG's live chat, but to no avail.”

The answers that recommend page 7 or 14 do not work on my unit. The fan runs as does yhe turntable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once cook time has been entered, you can also use the Power Level pad as a Kitchen Timer by entering “0” for the Cook Power. The oven will count down the cooking time you set without cooking. So example, press Cook Time > enter 2:00 ( 2 Minutes) > Power Level > Press 0 > Start. ^AC
