“I have a new LG microwave, m/n LMV1762ST.. looking for the timer. Found in instruction book, page 14, how to use microwave kitchen timer. My question is, the fan runs while microwave is counting, should fan be running while timer is going?”

I would assume the unit is designed to always run the fan as a precautionary measure. More than likely an OSHA or FDA regulation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once cook time has been entered, you can also use the Power Level pad as a Kitchen Timer by entering “0” for the Cook Power. The oven will count down the cooking time you set without cooking. Example, press Cook Time > enter 2:00 ( 2 Minutes) > Power Level > Press 0 > Start.
