“Is there an above the oven mounted LG model or models of a microwave that can be for use with 15 in depth cabinets since the answer I got back on this forum was that the model I purchased will only work with 13 in depth cabinets. Thank you.”

There is no reason that this microwave can’t be used with 15”deep cabinets. You will have to build out the space behind the mounting plate that attaches to the bottom of the microwave though, with solid wood 2” thick and securely attached to wall studs.The mounting plate is what carries the weight of the microwave and it’s contents. Secure the wood piece to the wall properly and the mounting plate to it thoroughly and you’ll be good to go.
