• The door practically swings on its own axis, so you should be fine. You barely need 1/4" for the door to swing open, and in most scenarios, that would be in front of adjacent cabinets Even if you are in a situation where the handle would hit a wall, the door would almost be open 90 degrees by that point - enough to put anything in the microwave.
