• The only way you can get it light up is to buy a different brand. LG removed the backlighting and makes this unit very difficult to use. All LG's photos and spec. sheet for the model show beautifully illuminated keypads. LG supplies a dark keypad.

• There is not a way to get the control panel to light up. It isn't backlit. ^Daphane
