QuestionContractor I'm using changed the vent to exhaust out the top/back or the unit & then outside the house to pull out gas from a stove beneath it. I still feel air coming out of the front of the unit. Should all air stop coming out front when done correctly?

QuestionDoes the Microwave vent out while cooking in the microwave?My last LG microwave vented outside while I was cooking in the microwave. The flap opened out and you could smell what ever I was cooking in my microwave outside. I have found other brands are so slow while cooking that the flap does not open on the outside vent. I feel the heat under the microwave and there is condensation on the front outside door by the time it is finished cooking in the microwave. This is a brand new microwave.

- Answer Hello Pookie, Congratulations on your new LG LMV1813ST 1.8 cu.ft. Over-The-Range Microwave. Like you last microwave, so too will this unit vent because while you're cooking, it is normal for steam to be produced and the microwave is designed to vent the steam out through the top...IFV

- Answer I don't understand why LG couldn't answer this question with a simple "press and hold this while pressing that." If you contacted them, is there an easy way to unbeep the super annoying beep? My Panasonic of 20 years ago had a control button that allowed for all of these settings to be performed very easily. This guy is disappointing.
